Seven out of the eight species of turtles that occur in Ontario are endangered or considered species at risk. This short wildlife documentary profiles the Kawartha Turtle Trauma Center and their efforts to save these vulnerable animals. The film focuses on turtle road kills but also touches on key aspects of the KTTC's initiatives including their turtle hospital, turtle nursery and tracking programs.
