I have know that there are less people keep red eye crocodile skink for pet.
I dont know why but these skink is a good pet for beginner,i  think it is better than the LG!
Why its is named red eye crocodile skink?Because of its big red eye,it use to scare the predator.
it look like a crocodile so its is called red eye crocodile skink.So you will ask,is it agressive cuz it look scary.
However,you will found out that they will not bite.they are really shy!They seldom eat in front of us!
(I had saw they eating once only)besides,one male one female can keep together,but two males may
fight.
cage setting
they really love wet!Hong Kong weather is OK for them.In winter,it is a bit dry,you may set like mine or use
water and add a dry platform.Use zoomed eco earth for the substrate and place a water bowl(the bowl shou
l be bigger than the size of the skink)are also a recommeded setting.Red Eye Crocolide Skink setting can be
simple but must have a high humidity and water bowl.
About the UVB,i didnt use one as it is a nocturnal animal.
place a cave would be good for them.
1/3should be water,2/3 should be land,but if the weather is too dry ,2/3 water and 1/3 land is fine
feeding
it is an Carnivorous reptile.i usually feed crickets and mealworms.
As i said before , they are too shy to eat in front of us,so dont force them to eat.

they can live in 16-26 C
But i will keep 25-28C as the tem. in water is lower.
