紅土作為底材優點：
乾淨        ：不會如泥土一樣粘附於龜身上甲上，弄得到處都是，污染水盆。
無味       ：沒有難聞味道
保濕       ：輕易達到70-80的濕度
無粉塵    ：初次使用前清洗後基本無粉塵
美觀       ：橙紅的顏色相當悅目
方便清理：龜拉大便於紅土上，相當明顯；而且紅土會包裹便便，
                或用紙巾包好丟掉即可。非常適合懶人。
不會生蟲：紅土和超陶粒都經過高溫加工，不會養蟲子
