Can someone please tell me if my setting for my tank is good enough for 2 turtles (Red ears slider 13cm & Yellow spotted sideneck 9cm).
I have a 36x12x18in tank with a canister filter (for 120-250 liter tank / Max 800L/H). There is a flowing dock and UVB lights at the top of the tank. Last week I also installed a heating tube at 26degrees.
I take them out for feeding everyday and I change the tank's water once a week.
Is there anything else I need to add in order to keep them happy? Any comments are much appreciated.

Thank you . Since I can’t afford a big house for myself, then I want my turtles to have a really big tank/house, I am trying to make their home as nice and comfortable as possible.

Thank you for the informations. Just want to clarify what you told me :
1) The heating lamp should be on year round for 10-12 hrs during day time
2) The water temperature should always be 23-29 degrees even in the summer
Is this correct? Sorry, it been only a few months since I have these turtles and I still have so much to learn.

The heating lamp should be on during day-time for 10-12hrs everyday regardless of season change or external temperature, the basking area should be around 29-35 degree while the water temperature should be around 23-29 degree.
According to your measurement the water temperature is ideal for your turtles, you needn't worry about the potential of turtles catching a cold due to temp. difference between basking area and water as long as you keep your water temp. constant at the temp. range i stated in the above. :)

Yes, I think is warm enough, and the environment is so nice. And just be careful about the temperature difference between day and night, don't remember to turn on the night warn light and turn off the day warm light at night. if you feel it troublesome, you can but a temperature and a far-infrared heating light to control the air temperature when winter.

Thank you for your kind comments. I have a warm light and will put it up when it gets colder (or do I need to put it up now?) The heating tube at 26degrees, is it warm enough ?
Your tank is so nice, and I suggest you to add a UVA light or warm light in winter, otherwise the temperature difference between water and air will get the turtle have a cold. Moreover, you can control these lights more easily if you have a temperature control.
the tank size is big enough, the only suggestion for you would be increasing the water level. :) maybe at least half full of the entire tank, since both turtle species can adapt quite deep water level and they are very good swimmers, adding more water can increase their living space.
