Yes, i m die hard fan for Japanse pond turtle... they are very colorful... n easy to raise.....n their mating behaviour is very intertesting 2...hehehe
I dont have much expereince.... last year i managed pick ard 30 eggs....... n could hatch any.. n lot of eggs laid at the ground and water n were broken .... hopefully this year i can do it better... i expect to have more than 100 eggs this year....
Thanks for the suggestion... but im afraid the turtles will eat those water plants lah.. they are very big. 8 females weight range from 900-1250g.. others female weight 600-800 g..
Last years 30 eggs but could not hatch any... bit disappointed.... this year hopefully wi be better or may be buy a Auto hatching box for safe...let c..........
not lah... only for interest....buy few first time 2-3 ago.... then like it n buy more n more...now is sufficient lah.... lot of time to change water every day in feeding period.... also need to watch them every day n ensure they are growing healthy....cheer
C Hing , wish eggs can hatched successfully this year . will need to top up the sand box first for them to lay eggs. Will share the good news once eggs can be hatched around Jul/Aug. Cheer
